Black Belt's Training - ME:

Blaine's Charizard sits at a unique intersection of multiple collector demand drivers that have kept its value strong and steadily appreciating for over two decades

Unlike wizards, elves, goblins, and the like, which you can find all over fantasy, some elements of Magic, like the lotus, are only iconic for their role in MTG

If the activated ability's cost contains a choice, such as a creature to sacrifice or a number of counters to remove, the copy created by Vantress Visions uses that same information

You can play a card like Black Mage's Rod on turn two, but you're often reluctant to trade because you'll lose your triggers, and it's too expensive to equip later to continue to accrue triggers
