Description

Some of the Commander potential cards are not real Magic cards as you know them, theyre playtest cards of what could come to the game at some point in the future

Early expectations for the MTG Spider Man set, from a competitive perspective, were not exciting

The set is fairly creature focused, which pushes down the ceiling on how good a lot of the cards can be

But then you have the mechanics that have fans divided

The low mana cost makes it an effective target for a Whir of Invention to catch opponents by surprise and stop them from making explosive graveyard plays
