It's very popular for Commander players to include three or more colors in their decks, so only having access to black mana is a huge problem
As a premium set with a higher MSRP than normal, a box of MH2 costs you a chunk more than a box of Standard-set play boosters
However, if we were to compare the sheer value you would get from both decks, this one has more cards I could picture in the competitive world, or worth a few bucks to sell individually
Building a deck from 100 cards and no duplicates allowed, barring very rare exceptions such as Relentless Rats with one Legendary Creature as its Commander (hence the formats current name), its a format that allows for some genuinely exciting deck construction and inventiveness, not to mention a great deal of experimentation
If you can identify the cards that are 1) played a bunch in Legacy/Modern/Commander and 2) about to rotate out of Standard then youre in at the perfect price
