Its got an interesting effect when it blocks a flier, in that you can keep both tapped down for as long as you choose then, if they play a better flier, untap Whip Vine and either nab another one, or you've stopped them from attacking
The actual changes will be rolling out gradually though, so we'll see if the suprisingly robust drop for Shining Revelry mollifies the community or not
This is great as a sort of catch-up mechanic: you can copy an opponents Dockside Extortionist or Smothering Tithe to keep up with them, or even make it a duplicate of an opposing Ghostly Prison to keep you safe
