Im far from a pro when it comes to playing competitively, so forgive me if I miss a little nuance here, but lets get down to it

Your opponent responds by casting Counterspell targeting your Lightning Bolt

Mickey Mouse, Wayward Sorcerer, meanwhile, is a solid card by itself thanks to balanced strength, willpower and lore stats, but becomes even more useful when used together with the Magic Broom, Bucket Brigade cards found in the Amber and Amethyst deck, as they will cost one fewer ink to bring out and then return to your hand (instead of the discard pile) when banished while Mickey is on the field

One thing to note about running more thematic cards is you end up taking slots away from non-equipment cards that might be stronger. Youll have room for Declaration in Stone and Dispatch but not Path to Exile

Typal themes did show up in Constructed, although we can do that without the as-fan being as high as it was in these sets
