illustration rare pokemon cards list Ranking Every from Mega Evolution Special illustration rare card (TCG)

In the days before smartphones and Magic finance, this was my favorite card to pick out of dealers bulk boxes because very few people knew that this card was anything more than a bulk rare

It was one of my first glimpses into the world of real, raw, massive card advantage (remember the days when you didnt understand why Ancestral Recall was too powerful?)

Sure, rarities tell you how often a card was meant to show up in a booster, and it can even give you a hint about how complex, flashy, or powerful that card might be

Blood Artist is still one of the best creatures that trigger when opposing creatures die, and it has been an aristocrats staple card ever since its printing

Also note that this will give you the bonus of impulsive card flow from any Goblin or Orc that damaged your foe as well
