cleric deck mtg commander Shadowborn Apostle Magic EDH Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker Clerics | EDHREC

The card is very powerful, but I think not too powerful given the wide array of premium threats printed in recent years

I have put him behind Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer on my personal evaluation since I wanted to highlight the ridiculous power level on the monkey, but Lightning Bolt is closer to my heart and will forever be among the best red cards in Magic

at the very least, your opponents need to respect its snowbally potential

But you need to consider many factors, such as the condition, rarity, and uniqueness of the card

Twenty essential red cards for your Commander decks, and all of them ones I play with alarming frequency
