discard cards mtg Black Deck Rules Text: Each player discards,

Your Commander

Since you're in Mono-Black, most of your lands will be swamps and so the toughness that creatures lose is often enough to kill them

Landfall Retreat to Coralhelm is one of the best actual landfall cards ever printed and would be a slam-dunk inclusion here, but I also really love slightly different cards like Cosima, God of the Voyage and Trench Behemoth that do a lot of heavy lifting when lands are entering the battlefield with frequency

The rest of the deck is made up of a new mechanic called Villainous choice, which has your opponents choose between picking an option that hurts them or benefits you, and then the powerful myriad ability to make sure youre sharing the pain across all players

It'll probably tick up a little bit before coming back down to earth
