Auras that have card draw attached, like Angelic Gift or Rune of Sustenance, put cards back into your hand, letting you skimp on expensive white card draw spells
Recent Magic: The Gathering sets have upped the ante with Multiverse-spanning threats like the Lovecraft-inspired Eldrazi, the Eternal army of Nicol Bolas, and the Phyrexians, a sinister faction players hadn't seen since 2011's New Phyrexia
It hits early threats cleanly and can deal with bigger creatures if youve triggered revolteasy to do with fetch lands or creature sacrifices
There are also a few Battles that are strong outside of the ETB-centric mold
That certainly isn't anything, especially if a more formidable creature mutates atop it or, goodness forbid, one picks two of them from the card pool
