Since the formats inception, the key question in Modern has always been, What are the linear decks of the day, and can the midrange decks properly sideboard for enough of the linears? Were talking about decks with names that cause many a Modern player to groan: Affinity Infect Twin Eggs Dredge Storm Burn Tron Lantern Arrayed against these unfair, one-sided boogeymen lie fair decks (all named after their color combinations) like Jund, Jeskai, Abzan, Grixis, and U/W Control
Icbrgr on Modern Control: Temur Wilderness Reclamation 4 weeks ago @DragonMaster420 as far as a Control deck goes its most definitely "fast enough" for current Modern (positioned 15th out of 43 players - 09/05/26 and Traumatic Critique makes it waaaay cleaner to close out games than how the deck as been built previously
If a monster(s) you control was destroyed by your Spell effect or your opponent's card effect and sent to the GY this turn: You can conduct your next Battle Phase twice
While most would prefer a card like Professors Research, this could work well in decks that dislike discarding any cards if they dont have to
