Description

Elementals can get pretty pricey, so 5 mana is often a cost reduction, and at instant speed, you can pull a lot of surprises outside your turn

Resolute Reinforcements, for example, can do it on its own on someone else's turn, even for just two mana

Spend two mana and tap the card to gain a Treasure token - but only if you can best a literal coin flip first

The creatures in a band are all still considered separate permanents for purposes of targeting, so you can snipe them out with Lightning Bolts and similar effects
