Luffy loses a life and Uta a card from the hand, the big difference is that the life we lose with Luffy is a card that goes to the hand, and then this translates into gaining an additional resource in addition to the DON

And this is on plan for a Hidetsugu and Kairi deck, anyway, which folks tried and largely abandoned

It feels a bit like a time capsule from 2015, but the deck continues to get cards that upgrade it, like Deification, Elspeth's Talent, Gatewatch Beacon, and Luxior, Giada's Gift

Even temporary boosts, like Dockside Extortionist, Dark Ritual, or Jeskas Will would be considered fast mana

The ability to the Wardens and their friends has been legendary at multiplayer tables everywhere
