The spell you cast without paying its mana cost is cast during the resolution of the triggered ability

It gains counters both when it attacks and when creatures it damages die, but the mana cost makes it harder to slip into multi-color builds (good for devotion, though!)

Just as notable as these bans was the unbanning of two cards in Modern: Violent Outburst and Umezawas Jitte

Against combo decks, youll definitely want to lean on your ability to go fast

Sigarda is obviously pretty awesome against the Jund decks chock full of spot removal, but its also pretty sweet that it gives you a body that your opponent cant remove with Angel of Serenity
