Better Mid-Cost Amethyst Steel Deck The mid-cost version gets us much closer to the original design of the deck: dominating the board with sticky Resist characters while feeding yourself lore, cards, and extra Strength through bouncing cards

PREPARING FOR ADVENTURE One of the nice things about prerelease events is their accessibility

each 100-card deck also comes with a 2-card Collector Booster Sample Pack, double-sided tokens, and a deck box

Ive played in spurts here and there, occasionally participating in drafts but usually just playing with preconstructed decks to have some fun with friends and channel nostalgia for simpler times (my first-ever MTG purchase was from the 2001 Planeshift expansion)

She also plays well with the sets emphasis on items and resource flow
