We already had the much maligned board wipe of Be Prepared, the classic Dragon Fire for targeted removal and recently Lady Tremaine has been forcing players to banish one of their own characters when she enters play, even getting around ward effects

A deck like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV is absolutely going to want this effect, and we can even run Lavinia in this deck because she only shuts down opponents

Of course, if there is a Lifegain deck out there that loves blood / discarding / artifact tokens then this card is bananas

I am putting Glorfindel, Dauntless RescuerGlorfindel, Dauntless Rescuer and Celeborn the WiseCeleborn the Wise together because they will go into the same kinds of decks: Elf decks, or scry decks

Encroaching Wastes This is probably slightly worse than Tectonic Edge, though sometimes itll give you the kind of blowout that Tec Edge only wishes it could deliver
