mtg werewolf commander precon The Best Commander: A Guide To Tovolar, Dire Overlord EDH | Innistrad Midnight Hunt Tovolar, Dire Overlord MTG EDH

In fact, you could argue this interaction forces players to play more colors if their goal is to have the optimal build of an archetype

Diamond Weapon Rarity: Uncommon TYPE: Legendary Artifact Creature SUBTYPE: Elemental CMC: 9 Mana cost: USD: $0.27 EUR: 0.19 TIX: 0.03 EDHREC RANK: 5547 (8/8) This spell costs less to cast for each permanent card in your graveyard

While I dont have a problem with them, approach these with caution if you are unsure about what your playgroup will accept (definitely ask!)

For one more mana, Persistent Constrictor is a 5/3 Zombie Snake who will have each of your opponents lose 1 life and you put a -1/-1 counter on up to one of their target creatures on their upkeep

With Hakbal costing four mana (one blue, one green, plus two), it's wise to make sure you have enough mana to cast and protect it if possible
