very colorful and lasts a long time
There is a great article on this plant on the Bromeliads in Australia site
This plant is tall and thin and has speckled and silver-banded leaves on bronze green base colour
These plants can survive these long drought periods by utilising small amounts of evaporating dew
Small pups sent bare root
Aechmea 'Suenos' Drift wood air plant very colorful and lasts aI acquired this plant as Aechmea 'Suenos'. However my plants seem larger than online descriptions. This plant has very attractive, large inflorescences of dark purple flowers with red bracts. A hybrid of A, recurvata and cylindrata, so it is a tough plant with some hardiness.
