He converted to organics in 2010, which respects the work done in the vineyard and allows better expression of Alsatian grape varieties and terroirs. Orage (not a typo!) is a blend of Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris. The Gewurztraminer was aged for a year in barrels, then blended with the Pinot Gris. Grapes:
