Sonata in C - Opus 3 No. 2 Tenor - Bass who plays the recorder andThis sonata, by baroque Moravian composer Godfrey Finger, is one of four recorder sonatas he wrote. Sonata No. 2 is not only recognised as Finger~~~~~s finest sonata, but also one of the greatest ever written for the instrument perhaps because of the remarkable power and grandeur not commonly associated with recorder music. The Times, in 1969, commented that it had a surprising warmth and intensity. _ARSM Recorder Repertoire List ABRSM SYLLABUS_ _
