Arrowhead Sand Dollar on Turquoise 17 ½” x 21 ½” <$300 take the stairs to theThere are many legends surrounding the Sand Dollar but my personal favorite is the old fairy tale that says that they are mermaids' coins, accidentally dropped into the sea. According to the book "What Seashells Reveal About Our True Nature" by Michelle Hanson, Sand Dollars are here to help us understand that we create our lives, and that everything that happens to us benefits us in some way, even if we are not consciously aware of it.
