Description

The techniques to manufacture our modern terra cotta have their roots in the arrival of the Spanish and the establishment of San Miguel de Allende in 1551

The end product is a 4"x4" tile with uneven edges

From ancient roof tiles to 400 year old floors

Our Sonora cement tiles are not fired in a kiln because there is no glaze layer on the surface of the tile

Each of our Clay 2x8 subway tiles are unique and one of a kind
