For Gómez Gallardo
each piece grounded yet dynamic
and the power of minimal form
The piece echoes themes of stillness and flux
From his early work designing over 70 schools with CAPFCE in Michoacán to his contributions to the Ruta de la Amistad during the 1968 Olympics
MERCEDES NATURAL Designer Furniture For Gómez GallardoMercedes is born from the union of playfulness and function. Inspired by traditional cazuelas de barro and three legged cooking molcajetes found across Mexican kitchens, this piece offers a contemporary take on a familiar silhouette. Crafted in natural clay, it honours its utilitarian roots while embracing sculptural refinement.
