1950's Mexican Ex Voto Painting on Tin, Boat and Sick Person, Retablo Folk Art Chinese Ship City National BankThis is a 1950's Mexican Ex Voto Painted on Tin, depicting two people on a sail boat on the right side, and two small people praying bed ridden woman on the left side. Above this scene is the Virgen de San Juan de Los Lagos. The text underneath is faint but dedicates this retablo to the Virgen for providing a miracle. The boat is not a common subject in retablos and makes this a very curious piece. Approx. Dimensions: Height: 10 1 8" Width: 7"
