LOW TIDE The background to the story

The background to the story is Ukraine

I made this work in response to a string of extraordinary rainfall events when I lived in a potentially floodable area of South London

This one is She's Not There by Rod Argent - a single in 1964 on the Begin Here album

numbered LIMITED EDITION Print on cotton rag paper

Originally a watercolour and pastel drawing

LOW TIDE The background to the storyThis body of work was inspired by the freedom of sailing way out to sea and the shore. The storms, the calm, the billowing, the speed, the dark. They are all small, active feeling mixed media studies. They are all framed and measure 9"x 9". The non reflective glass gives a greater clarity.
