The reel is in excellent overall condition with only minor wear in the form of a few tiny dings on the rim of the reel frame and reel foot and some water marks in the anodized finish

Capacity is listed as 250 yds of 20# test braided nylon plus 40 yards of fly line

we know of a very similar 8 1/2' rod made for Marion Lively in 1953 with also a 15 ferrule and a 5/64 tip top

Excellent condition with a little splatter staining to the front cover

Straight line writing on the faceplate. Duplicated MKII check. A nice reel mechanically with some exterior finish wear, but no cracks. The dark agate line guide insert however does have a few cracks but can be replaced of course, or fished as is.
