CRI (Catskill Research Incorporated) Model 2300 fly reel 8'3" This is a great valueFor sale here is a Model 2300 fly reel from CRI, or Catskill Research Incorporated. Made in Japan. Excellent plus condition. 3. 11" diameter, 1. 10" frame width. Made like an Orvis CFO, only better in my opinion. The spool and frame were hand honed from a single block of aluminum, rather than cast. The reels featured a pure brass counterbalance and a beautiful resin impregnated rosewood handle. Right or left hand retrieve. Capacity is DT6+50, WF7+70,
