faux leather strapless dress Avril Notch Neck Bodycon Mini • American Threads Boutique Black / L Bust 33 One Teaspoon Leather Strapless Mini

This beautiful Edwardian lingerie dress with countless rows of pintucks and Valenciennes lace at the MET museum is joined at the waist with hooks and eyes

I also loved the color: not quite charcoal, not quite brown, but incredibly versatile

Im one of at least three girls in the British Vogue office who would cite her colour-clashing capri pants/backwards Chanel blouse/bandana ensemble from season three, episode 15 which finds our heroine regressing back to her high school days, whiling away a New York heat wave smoking weed and having water fights at her boyfriends parents house as an all-time favourite

All as described, high quality

The puffy net skirt adds volume and movement to the dress, while the delicate flower details add a touch of whimsy
